Our Story

Born from a Mother's Real-Life Struggle

Founder with child
Sarah Johnson, Founder & CEO, with her energetic 5-year-old

"I just wanted five minutes to drink my coffee while it was still hot."

As a mom of a lively 5-year-old, I know what it's like to never get a break. The constant "Mom! Mom! Mom!"—especially when they're bored—can be overwhelming.

Like many parents, I found myself caught in an impossible choice: give my child a screen to buy some quiet time, or sacrifice any moment of peace in my day. I didn't want to rely on screens to entertain my child. I wanted something better.

One particularly exhausting afternoon, after being interrupted for the twentieth time while trying to finish a work call, I watched my daughter happily playing with her outdoor toys. For a full 30 minutes, she was completely engaged, giggling and exploring—and I had a moment to breathe.

That's when it hit me: what if I could create toys specifically designed to keep children independently engaged for longer?

That's how this brand was born: to give moms a little breathing room without the guilt.
